Ms. Yvonne LeFlorie

Hi, my name is Ms. Yvonne LeFlorie. I have had the pleasure of teaching English Language Arts and Social Science to Middle School students for more than 15 years at Chicago Public Schools.
I earned both of my college degrees with honors.

Over the years at the craft I have been publicly recognized and/or awarded for my achievements in the past related to the successes of my reading students as a result of their hard work and perseverance (hands-on parents/guardians) and under my guidance, nurturing and of course - instruction.

I am always excited to not only teach , but to learn from my students , as I've discovered they have important "lessons" to teach me, as well.

I believe that all students no matter who they are or where they come from, can reach goals set forth, especially with motivation, encouragement and "love" from their teachers who "matter" right now in their lives, and oftentimes beyond their elementary school years, as I've witnessed myself. I am that teacher .

If the students, parents/guardians, and all other "stakeholders" work with me, together we will accomplish what's necessary for the students to excel or to prosper . My email address is [email protected]

I am looking forward to joining my new colleagues at George M. Pullman Elementary School , becoming part of the family and more Cardinal success stories to come , but make NO MISTAKES, "Middle School Rocks!".
